The Guaranteed Reversal Of All Things

knifegunpen.com | The Guaranteed Reversal Of All Things

It is clear

Your pain
is unbelievable

Nothing is working

Nothing makes sense

You’ve been taken
to the cleaners

And will be again

The petty kings
of this world
talk and talk
yet nothing happens

The arrogant rich enjoy
extravagant meals
undisturbed, unworried
discussing plans to enjoy more

The single-minded murderer
walks free at a merciful noon
stalking you without mercy
never stopping

The talented slanderer
speaks confidently without pause
taking you down
taking your name

The underpaid bank teller
has shut her window
no more extensions
no more help

You have nowhere
to turn

Nothing to
lean on

No one to
hear your plea

Your cry only echos
down a downtown alley
bouncing among the
dumpsters and vomit
distracting the
rats from their work

You are at the end

At least for now

It is well known
that a guaranteed reversal
of all things
is coming

The Judge
on the bench
that day
will not be
bought
persuaded
intimidated
changed
or delayed

Justice will be
real and
complete

And the last will
for the first time
walk to the
front
of
the
line

Slowly enjoy
the extravagant meal

And sit in peace
beneath a low Japanese maple

With not a
single worry
of tomorrow

Ever
again

I feel compelled to say something or other.

How’s the project? Want some destruction pictures? Pretty much infinite supply of those in these parts…

C - OK, so comments are working again, no idea, apologes for the delay…

Yeah, no-go for now on the new site. A general lack of interest it seems.

    Fair enough.

I went to stare into the void this weekend. It was heavy.
