Love the cat. Can’t imagine it was staged, because well, it is a cat. But the thought did cross my mind.

    I can’t let this go:

    fiction worth reading:

    Walker Percy.

Love in the Ruins:The Adventures of a Bad Catholic at a Time Near the End of the World. He’s comic, tragic, satirical, religious…not afraid to write about sin…all of the good things.

His Lost in the Cosmos, the Last Self Help Book You’ll Ever Need is great, too.

You’re right about the cat, actually cats, two showed up for this one. I guess they felt it was time to make an entrance onto the world stage.

Or, more likely, they were both just too self-absorbed to notice the camera was on…

And you’re right on Percy as well…

My parents live in the town walker percy is from. Took a class in highschool on him from a drinking buddy of his. (The same prof used to go drinking with kurt vonnegut, too.)

I haven’t been able to read fiction much in years, but that is sometimes worth the exception.

    Candice, your connections seem limitless.

Sometimes? I’ve known a lot of very well-connected people, that’s most of it.

I would say I’m more of an enabler. Professional bad influence, on occasion, but not nearly as much as I used to be. (As in, don’t ever count on me to help you quit smoking or drinking.)

I barely read at all anymore; when I was fifteen I decided people were much more interesting than books.

Have Your Say...
