WHAT’S THE STORY HERE?

Robert Bruce is one of the most read, linked, loved and reviled poets working on the web.

He lives in the rain and fog of Portland, Ore. and throws a poem around the world every Monday morning from a small red house with the assistance of a broadband line and a wicked cup of black coffee.

If you like Eliot, Rimbaud or Plath, you’ll hate Robert Bruce. Don’t even try.

Perhaps I am, but that’s not it. Like you, I work two jobs, have a dog, four cats, thirty chickens and watch a lot of television. I need the few moments left over to write these little poems, cut my toenails and get to the dentist. Email is better (see above).
