THANKS:
Jami Curl, for editing this. Your selfless work, patience and talent are extraordinary and duly noted my friend.

Loren Feldman, for turning off your camera to write a sophisticated, thoughtful and ballsy foreword.

Hugh MacLeod, for allowing the use of one of your subtly magnificent drawings as cover art on the first edition.

I’m proud of you brother! Much love. Spreading the book around Hollywood to some writers and actors. Talk soon.

JC - Yes, I want actors on every streetcorner in Hollywood acting out these poems by 8am tomorrow morning.

And I want them to have the lines down cold.

[…] Last fall, Robert Bruce made a very cool video that I dubbed the official Copyblogger commercial. He’s done it again, inspired by my 10 Steps to Becoming a Better Writer and a bottle of Mirror Pond Pale Ale (the beer actually co-stars). Check out both videos below, and make sure to download Robert’s cool collection of selected poems entitled The Well-Lit, Freshly Paved, Six-Lane Boulevard To Nowhere. […]

I’ve been spreading your site to my kindred across the country. Love it. I too have guns and knives and write poems but they are purely cathartic. I couldn’t help but make the connection between your Scottish name and the Scottish tradition of poetry, written or impromptu, being a masculine tradition. I’ve spent years teaching young men who are incarcerated to use poetry as a form of self expresson but it has never been an easy sell. Anyway, thanks.
